WHAT IS ELOONGO?Eloongo is a social platform and online marketplace where users can sell or buy certain items from other users.WHERE TO FIND MONEY TO BUY?Eloongo gives you money to make direct purchases and monetary transactions between users.Eloongo is a social platform that allows people in precarious situations or poverty to benefit from an amount of financial assistance.Users receive free of charge upon registration and each month an allowance of $150 which must be used locally on Eloongo to make purchases and sales between users.We allow all users to be paid for their posts ($1 per post), comments ($0.5 per comment) and referrals ($5 per person).WHO CAN USE OUR WEBSITE OR APPLICATION?Only registered users or Pro Users (a user whose account is certified) can add items and transact on the site. If you are 18 or younger, your parent or guardian (adult) must register your account and supervise your use of the site.The users of the Eloongo platform are:• persons acting as consumers (“users” or “individual users”);• companies, individual entrepreneurs or non-profit associations within the meaning of Congolese law, (“Pro Users” or “Pro Sellers”); And• for limited specific social projects, Eloongo group companies, with the exception of Starrsclay, may also operate as Pro Sellers.Eloongo only hosts Pro Users who offer second-hand items, add them to the Catalog of the relevant site as part of their professional activity and have created a “Pro Seller” account. Items sold by a Pro User must comply with and belong to the categories permitted under the Catalog Rules. Pro Users are identified on the Site by a “Pro” label.For explanations on how to become a Pro User, you can consult our Help Center.WHAT KIND OF ITEMS CAN BE SOLD ON ELOONGO?We ensure that Eloongo is a friendly and safe place for its users. Therefore, when you add an item, you must ensure that you are authorized to sell it and comply with the Catalog Rules which give an overview of what you can and cannot sell on our site. Below are some examples of what our current Catalog Rules say about this:The Pro user can sell:In the case of a need for money quickly without credit, the first solution is to look at what you own in order to be able to sell it. It is human to store many objects that we no longer use. On the occasion of a garage sale, you could sell for example• clothing, shoes and accessories for women, men and children;• toys, childrens furniture and childcare equipment;• new cosmetic products, beauty products and beauty gadgets;• high-tech accessories such as headphones, smartwatches, phone cases and other similar items;• household items such as textiles, tableware and home accessories;• entertainment items such as video games, consoles, accessories, books, board games, puzzles, music and audio equipment;• articles for pets such as clothing, accessories, bedding, travel accessories and toys.
